| To
date the Sheffield Clean Air Partnership has been closely involved
in decisions around the Air Quality Management Areas and resultant
Air Quality Action Plan. Initial meetings of the Partnership focused on updating and informing the partners of air quality issues. Several open discussion meetings were held, culminating in 2 workshops where the partnership members were asked to suggest and prioritise actions to improve air quality in the area. Further meetings were held on how these actions should be implemented. It should be stressed that without the involvement of the Clean Air Partnership, such a wide ranging, detailed and broadly accepted plan could not have been produced.
