The
Sheffield Clean Air Partnership was formed for the following
reasons:
- To help improve air quality in Sheffield,
especially in any designated Air Quality Management Areas.
- To assist in the drawing up and implementation
of the Air Quality Action Plan
- To act as key consultees and stakeholders
around major air quality decisions
- To promote, implement and feedback
good practice around air quality issues
- To help improve the environment of
Sheffield for the benefit of residents, visitors and the
economy
- To help close the health, poverty
and social inequity gap between the lowest and highest
achieving wards in Sheffield
